We are thrilled to announce an inclusive scholarship opportunity for individuals who identify as Black or South Asian to participate in a 200-hour yoga teacher training program. This scholarship is intended to promote diversity and inclusivity in the yoga community and create more opportunities for underrepresented groups.
We recognize that the yoga industry has historically lacked diversity, and we are committed to changing this by providing support and training to Black and South Asian individuals who are passionate about yoga and wellness. We encourage all eligible applicants to apply and look forward to welcoming a more diverse group of yoga teachers into our community.
HYS Inclusivity Scholarship
HYS Scholarship Details:
To be eligible for our scholarship program applicants must identify as Black or South Asian.
The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial support for Black or South Asian students who are unable to pay for a teacher training course on a 6 month payment plan.
Our Inclusivity Scholarship awards £1,550 towards the tuition, and the student is required to cover the remaining cost.
Flexible payment plans are available.
All genders and ages are welcome.
Once we receive all applications, we'll inform you of the following steps, including the Zoom interview.
Application deadline for our autumn 2024 teacher training is July 8th, 2024.
Scholarship applicants will be informed of their status by July 15th, 2024.
