Testimonials

Christians classes are a journey. A journey through the body, with the soul, with the spirit. There are only a handful of teachers that I know that can lift my yoga practice up to a different level and Christian is certainly one of them. Christians classes transform oneself. Not only he teaches an asana practice where one can find themselves learning more about the detailed alignment of the body. He is able to lead your way inwards in order to get closer to your core being. With his detailed queuing, wisdom sharings, powerful enchanting voice, and uplifting spirit you just feel that he is embodying the path of yoga with all his heart. In Savasana you will know that you will lift up and fly away, descending down afterwards with a smile on your face and an open grateful heart.

From encouraging me to help deepen my practice, to giving me confidence to grow and teach. Mona’s teaching has been a golden thread throughout my yoga journey. She is intuitive and spiritual, with a deep understanding of the old texts, all of which she effortlessly weaves into her classes. She combines steady with ease and strength with flexibility. She is one of the most authentic teachers I have ever met, as she lives yoga.  If you get a chance to practice with her, take it; it might just change your life.

I met Christian at my yoga teacher training in Bali where he was one of my teachers. I am so lucky to have been taught by him as he has a beautiful way of teaching. His warm and fun personality, his energy and his passion for yoga and ceremonies played a massive part of why my experience at the training was more than I could have asked for. Every yoga class, meditation and ceremony hit right in the heart and it helped me develop on a personal level in so many ways. Anyone who has the chance to be taught by Christian is lucky and I couldn’t recommend him more.

Mona is an incredibly gifted yoga teacher who leads her Asana classes in such a calm and clear manner that always leaves me feeling like I have learned something new after every class. Her knowledge and teaching of the ancient, and more modern, yoga texts has transformed my own understanding and approach to my practice and helped me with my own teaching to which I am so grateful. Her classes always feel so inclusive whether you are an experienced yogi or a complete beginner she will offer personal adjustments and advice when needed.

“Christian is a very unique yoga teacher. Besides his vast knowledge of the Asana practice and his amazing way of teaching it, I really do admire his special touch for ceremonial and traditional aspects. He allows you to reconnect to yourself, to mother earth and all spirits in a very special way. Teaching it from the heart and with such compassion. Something that can't be described, but should definitely be experienced! All over, very different yoga practice, which is more than worth a try!”

I consider myself very lucky to have trained as a teacher with Mona. Her experience as a yoga practitioner shines through in the way of her wonderful energy. I always felt supported in her courses. Mona’s guidance left me with a lof of confidence to start my own teaching journey. Since I’ve completed my training, I still attend Mona’s classes, and I always learn something new and feel blown away.

I had the chance to follow classes with Christian during my YTT in Bali and it was a wonderful experience. Christian is a wonderful human being and a great teacher. He has a lot of knowledge to share and he knows how to share it. His yoga philosophy classes were very interesting and made me want to learn more about it. I also loved his asana classes which were a mix of fun and challenge. He knows how to push you just enough so that you can improve, always with respect and understanding. During the training, he brought his drum and we had a wonderful time discovering native rituals and traditional ceremonies. This was absolutely magical. I still put the shell that I picked up during this practice in front of my mat when I practice at home. If you have a chance to try a class or teacher training with him, I highly recommend that you take that chance.

Oh the tears. I hadn’t really prepared for the tear-jerking moments. There was some really impactful days — dealing with inclusivity, diversity, equity, spending time with the therapist that came in — I hadn’t necessarily anticipated some of the more emotional moments. And it sounds cliché because we know that is what yoga invites us to do a lot of the time, but I found a big contrast between my day to day life, Monday through Friday, my weekly hype-of-life, and then Saturdays and Sundays where my safe space; just spending time with other like minded people in a space that was more open, caring, slower, gentle, whilst learning and being enriched in a number of ways.
