Embark on a transformative exploration of human anatomy with Matthew Huy, our esteemed yoga instructor and the lead facilitator for the anatomy module. Matthew's extensive background in conducting anatomy segments for numerous yoga teacher trainings has established him as a veritable wellspring of knowledge.

His contribution to the literary world includes co-authoring "The Physiology of Yoga" alongside Andrew McGonigle. This insightful book examines the scientific evidence behind yoga's effects on various physiological systems.

More about Matt:

Matthew's journey in the realm of movement and well-being began in the San Francisco Bay Area, leading him to earn a BA in Dance from California State University Long Beach. His pursuit of knowledge took him across the globe, from a yoga teacher training at a Sivananda ashram in India to a Pilates Matwork Certification in Los Angeles, culminating in a Thai yoga massage course in Thailand. In 2022, he added a master's degree in Sport, Health, and Exercise Science from Brunel University London to his accolades, specializing in exercise physiology and pain science, with a master's thesis examining the influence of yoga instructors' language on practitioners.

Now settled in the UK since 2009, Matthew offers his expertise through weekly classes—available online and in-person in Buckinghamshire—and spearheads the anatomy modules for teacher trainings worldwide. His dedication extends to providing CPD workshops for practicing instructors and mentorship for the novices in the field.
